Making
the Grade at “The W” The pipeline traverses a rugged escarpment in northern Cameroon where the installation was particularly challenging. Pipeline construction crews nicknamed the spot “The W” after the shape of the terrain, with its abrupt plunging valleys and steep ridges. This portion of the route was required by a pipeline route change made during the planning process that shifted the original route out of the environmentally sensitive M’béré Rift Valley. |
