Anchored
to the Sea Bed A Single Point Mooring unit holds the Floating Storage and Offloading vessel on station, 12 kilometers off the coast of Cameroon, near Kribi. The Single Point Mooring unit was anchored into place with pilings driven deeply into the sea bottom. The vessel pivots or “weathervanes” around the Single Point Mooring unit to minimize the effects of wind and storms. |
