Knowledge to Ensure Quality Consultation Project area residents speak several hundred dialects and include dozens of diverse cultural groups. To ensure good communication during consultation, the project has employed specialists all through the planning and construction phase. Here, Professor Jean-Félix Luong of the University of Yaounde helps conduct a village consultation meeting. He has studied the Bagyeli/Bakola people of coastal Cameroon for decades. As another example of local knowledge to aid community communications, project Local Community Contacts are hired from and live in their assigned work regions. |
