of Land Users Compensated This woman is one of thousands of land users who have received compensation from the project during the building of the pipeline and the oilfield, as well as the improved road infrastructure, which was needed to help move all the required construction material and equipment. By mid-2003, the project had paid about 7.4 billion CFA ($11.4 million) in cash and in-kind compensation to individual land users. |
