NGO
Expertise The project enlisted the help of local NGOs to implement its HIV/AIDS public education programs (see previous photograph). Achta Tone Gossingar, the Directrice Générale of the Chadian NGO AMASOT, was one of many who helped bring the education program to the villages. As with a number of other community initiatives, the project contracted with the NGOs and paid for the work, which gave the project the benefit of expert assistance while providing valuable funding that helped support other NGO programs. |
