Chadian “Gas Station”
Many people buy gasoline and other fuels of questionable quality in bottles at small roadside stands. Chad uses 100,000 metric tons of energy per year, but has no refineries and must import all its gasoline, diesel and kerosene. Only 2% of Chad's population has electricity.
