- Phase IA (Beginning of Hurricane season): Update response plans, train personnel, initiate ongoing hurricane activity monitoring.
- Phase I (10 to 3-1/2 days before landfall): Pre-stage support personnel and equipment, make equipment preparations as necessary
- Phase II (3-1/2 to 2-1/2 days before landfall): Employees make personal preparations and travel out of impacted area as necessary, storm riders make personal preparations, continue equipment preparation as necessary.
- Phases III-IV (2-1/2 days to 12 hrs before landfall): Storm riders set up operations, other employees communicate status/location to supervisors, reconnaissance personnel identified, storm riders potentially released, conduct final equipment preparation.
- Phase V (Post Storm Damage Assessment and Recovery): Finalize and communicate return-to-work plan; implement plans necessary to maximize business continuity, security and safety of employees and families; assess damage and initiate repairs.
