Award winning attitude to safety

A team from North Sea production (NSP) has received the 2010 Exxon Mobil Production Company (EMPC) WellWork Safety award.

The NSP WellWork team of specialists is in charge of safely executing repairs and servicing the company’s largest assets – the wells. Consistent with the company’s key objective that Nobody Gets Hurt, the NSP WellWork Group achieved a whole year with no significant incidents when executing well work.

Subsurface support manager Dan Whiteman presented the award to Well Work operations superintendent Jim Horsbrugh and his team.

At the presentation, Whiteman acknowledged the award as a significant milestone in achieving the company-wide goal of Nobody Gets Hurt. He said: “I am honoured to recognise these team members for their exceptional safety performance.”
